Mom Workout Routine

Options if you do not have a lot of time to workout. For those of you who don't have time to workout, could you spare a few minutes? Exercise is so important along with nutrition, and supplements. Don't have the energy to workout? Sometimes I just don't have enough energy to do my workout. Most people would just drink coffee, however drinking coffee before you workout is not good for you. So, I take some natural supplements for health and more energy. I personally take and recommend Advocare MNS E. What to do if you can't do pull ups in the P90X Workout. For those of us who can't do the push ups or pull ups I recommend using the resistance bands until you build up your strength. Also doing the push ups and pull ups puts a lot of pressure on your abs so you will want to make sure you have built up your strength and where the waist trimmer.

Benefits of Skecher Shape Ups. After having children I am always concerned about getting a (mom butt) flat butt. For a little extra help in that area I use the Skecher Kintex shape ups. I chose the Kinetix Response  Skecher shape ups after reading all the reviews as these seemed to be the best fit for doing my p90x or Insanity workouts.

 The Shape Ups have also been great for walking in my neighborhood. I push around a double stroller so going down hills puts a lot of pressure on my knees. But...

Do you have to do px90 everyday to see results?

If you are wandering whether or not you have to do P90x everyday to see results the answer is no. When I was doing P90X I could only do it 3 days a week because that was all I had time for. I still saw great results and it is actually better to let your body recover for a day or two after doing a strenuous workout. Otherwise, you get burnt out or sick which has happened to several people I know. See my results here...

Can you do PX90 if your not in shape? Yes!

Can you do P90X if your not in shape? The answer is yes. With P90x you will have to work at your own pace. You can start of doing less reps and smaller weights and then work your way up. It is up to you how much you do. If you are beginner take it very easy when you are comfortable and starting to feel good after your workout, then start to push your self in the next workout. If you are really out of shape or overweight start out with walking or a less strenuous workout. You can do it!!!!

Can't do pull ups in the P90X Program? If you are like me and can't do pull ups you will need to get resistance bands until you are strong enough to do the real push ups. When buying resistance bands be sure to get one with a door attachment. To hang open the door put the attachment on the top of the door and the door frame and close.

The best time of day to do px90, insanity or any other workout.

What is the best time of day to do p90x, insanity or any other workout?
I have been studying this for a while. And what I found is morning is the best time to workout. This is for two main reasons.

1. It is likely that if you do not workout in the morning you may not do it at all. For me I have for young kids, so if I don't get up and do my workout first thing, there is a good chance I will be distracted or something may come up.

2. Another reason it is good to workout in the morning is because ...

Dana MarieI am a stay at home mother of 4 children eight and under. There is not a lot of extra time to go to the gym and working out. So I do my workouts at home. There are a ton of workout videos to choose from when it comes to working out at home and I am one to try them all. I had my fourth child in April of 2009. Two months after having him, I decided to do the p90x lean program. I started out doing it everyday, but having four kids at home I was limited to 3 times a week. So while it took me longer than 90 days I still saw results. In the beginning I could do absolutely no push ups or pull ups; I could not make it through the whole video doing everything properly; I could not do and still have a hard time doing the Ab Ripper, but I try to be careful since my abs are split from having children. While doing p90x I lost 15 pounds. I went down 3 or 4 pant sizes. I am definitely stronger and leaner. I can actually do push ups now after doing the p90x. I am still not where I want to be, but that is why I keep pushing play. Now I also do some Insanity, and have also done Billy's Boot Camp. I like to mix it up, but my favorite is the P90x.
